Welcome to Lincoln
Incorporated in 1754, Lincoln is a quaint community located just 16 miles outside of Boston. During the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Bostonians came to Lincoln to build elaborate country estates and summer residences – many of which comprise Lincoln’s Historic District today. In addition to the Colonial architecture abundant throughout town, Lincoln is also known for its more modern and contemporary designs, which gained popularity during the 1930’s. Lincoln has over 1,600 acres of land preserved for conservation and more than 50 miles of conversation trails. With its close proximity to Boston, Lincoln remains an ideal commuting location while maintaining its country town appeal.
